Md. Toukir Biswas serves as the Zone Advisor for KRTC's Southwest Zone (Khulna & Barishal Divisions) under the University Coordinator & Student Ambassador Program. He is a final-year B.Sc. (Hons) student in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Rajshahi (160 credits, expected graduation April 2026), with an active research and publication record in nanomaterials, Schiff base metal complexes, computational chemistry (DFT, ADMET, molecular docking), and green synthesis.
A published author in journals including Scientific Reports (Springer Nature) and the Asian Journal of Chemical Sciences, he has presented at multiple international conferences including the International Conference on Applied Statistics and Data Science 2025 (ISRT, University of Dhaka) and the 2nd International Conference on Recent Advances in Science and Technology 2025 (Faculty of Science, University of Rajshahi). He was awarded 1st Runner-Up at the IQAC University of Rajshahi Business Idea Competition 2025 and twice received 2nd Runner-Up recognition for innovative projects on bioplastics production.
Currently serving as Vice President of the Rajshahi University Higher Study Club, he brings hands-on experience in academic event coordination, research methodology mentoring, and student engagement — including leadership roles at the RURS 1st International Student Conference and Research Fair 2024. As Zone Advisor, he guides University Coordinators across Southwest Zone universities (KU, KUET, IU, BU, PSTU, JUST) and affiliated National University colleges, ensuring regional coherence and institutional alignment with KRTC's applied-science training, research, and community mission.
