Md. Sadequl Islam

Md. Sadequl Islam is a pharmaceutical Quality Control specialist with seven years of professional experience across regulated manufacturing environments. He currently serves as Senior Executive-2, Quality Control at Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited, Rajendrapur — handling Laboratory Incident Reports (LIR), Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations, deviations, and change control; preparing and reviewing method-transfer protocols and reports; designing QRM and URS for QC equipment; and overseeing specification, test method and SOP preparation alongside ALCOA⁺-aligned data integrity and audit-ready GLP practice.

He holds an MSc Engg and a BSc Engg in Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of Rajshahi, with his MSc thesis on "Production of Soybean Methyl Ester and Its Engine Performance Test" (supervisor: Dr. Md. Anwarul Karim) and his undergraduate project on fuel-cell technology (supervisor: Dr. C. M. Mustafa). His earlier career — as Senior Officer, QC at Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited and prior to that as Executive, QC at Popular Pharmaceuticals Limited (Tongi Industrial Area) — spans hands-on operation of HPLC, GC, AAS, UV-Vis, FTIR, dissolution tester, Karl Fischer apparatus, autotitrator and disintegration tester, alongside SOP preparation, working-standard documentation, calibration, and laboratory investigation. He has also completed specialised training on Industrial Process Unit Operation and Process Control Technique at the Training Institute for Chemical Industries (TICI), Polash, Norshingdi.

As **Head of the Co-Joint Advisory Team (C-JAT)** at the Kekuleon Research and Training Center (KRTC), Md. Sadequl Islam leads the body responsible for the research, development, and institutional-modelling dimensions of KRTC's mission. He convenes C-JAT discussions, sets the team's collective advisory direction, coordinates with the Founder & Chairman and the Joint Advisory Team (JAT), and ensures that KRTC's research projects, applied training programmes, and laboratory practices are aligned with internationally benchmarked pharmaceutical-industry standards and broader societal development objectives.
